Hi, I’m Justine!

I am a colorist, stylist and educator at Sloane’s Beauty Bar in Minneapolis. I have been lucky enough to land my dream career that thrives on relationships and is fueled by artistic design!

I began my studies at the Aveda Institute Mpls and quickly found a passion for people, travel and education. I began doing hair competitions worldwide where I fell in love with different cultures and conversation.

Early in my career I was fortunate to have amazing mentors and who jump started my ever-evolving education journey. Over the next decade, I worked as an educator and stage artist for the global hair color giant; Wella. Meanwhile, I continued to work in the salon building a devout clientele. I went on to develop company-wide education programs for salons, managed an artistic team and evolved an apprentice program, growing over 40 students into full-time stylists. Three years ago I made a big leap to go out on my own, and I’m now a one-woman show!

I have had the incredible opportunity to work and teach in top salons around North America, share the show stage with some of my biggest hair icons, and work on many marketing campaigns, educational videos and fashion shoots. I have received Allure Magazine's Best of the Best award, MN Monthly's Best Colorist award, and I am a recipient of Wella's Trend Vision USA Gold medalist award. 

I continue to be inspired every day by working with my clients behind the chair in Minneapolis and freelancing! When I'm not in the salon, I enjoy soaking up every second with my sweet babes Georgia, Harvey and husband Colin. We are constantly cooking, hosting and redecorating our new lake home.
